Anzen Dai-Ichi is Japanese for Safety First and Sakichi Toyota, founder of Toyota Industries was a major pioneer in incident analytical tools, such as the ‘Five Whys’ and the ‘Ishikawa Fishbone’.
Inspired by this, our company takes a holistic approach to health, safety and environmental practice, with the philosophy that minimising harm to individuals and the environment must be baked into all aspects of work.
We don’t believe organisations should develop a ‘health and safety culture’, but rather that all aspects of organisational culture should take the health and safety of all into account.
Our founder, Steve Ross CertIOSH, is an experienced HSE professional and has delivered HSE advice on a broad range of projects along with 'on the tools' experience, giving him insights into the mindsets of ordinary operatives, as well as the knowledge and confidence to work with project managers, designers and members of the executive team.
We can help with all aspects of HSE planning and management, from help with developing risk assessments and safe systems of work to reviewing and developing HSE management systems.
